There's so much to like in this picture. The dress itself is a wonderful symbol of the approach of summer, with its playful polka dots. I like the way you're standing, with just your chin and lips visible and your hand clenching the dress, as if, while abiding for now in the shadows, you can't wait for summer and freedom to finally be here.
But what really makes this special, to me anyway, is how you've managed to frame a second window, bursting with light, inside one of the panes of the first: you get the sense of multiple barriers and obstacles between you and the beckoning warm spaces outside. This adds enormously to the ambiguity and complexity to the image, and raises all kinds of questions in the viewer's mind about who is wearing the pink dress, and whether she'll be able to frolic as freely as she desires.
Of course, I could be completely reading into your picture what isn't there - but I think it's a tribute to your skills and imagination that the result allows for such a rich interpretation!
